I might have said this before but it bares repeating- Uber drivers should be made to pass a test that proves they know the city they work in. Too many " amateur " drivers rely on their gps and end up going 15 MPH or making sudden last minute turns that are dangerous.
There I said it. Honk Honk.

There's been controversy up here in Canada over various incidents, some very serious - from harrassment and stalking of female passengers to incompetent driving leading to loss of life. So yeah, they should have to be trained like any other skilled worker and the company should be responsible for their drivers. The whole thing is a huge scam by companies like Uber, in my eyes.

Android-using phones and iPhones do pretty much the exact same thing in pretty much the exact same way. It makes no sense to start yelling at each other because we prefer one over the other.
There! I said it.

Don't get me started on Uber. Google "Uber" and "controversy" - and the search engine will probably crash after the page results load.

Nobody remembers Barry Blair? I seem to remember people hating on that artist a lot. I dunno, comics and bad taste, a combo a bit hard for me to get worked up about sometimes.

I have a nice sized run of his work on Samurai and Elflord. Enjoyable if lightweight comic work. I think many complained as most of his artwork was a simplistic cartoon anime hybrid and ALL his stuff made them look like young kids. He also left most panels empty with very little background if I remember correctly. A lot of folks also complained his Elflord was just soft core porn ripping off Elfquest.

Sometimes you just need to pull the damn trigger and buy books you want when they come out because you know they're going to go out of print in a microsecond and be ridiculously priced on the secondary market. Yes, I'm looking at you, J ames Warren, Empire Of Monsters: The Man Behind Creepy, Vampirella, And Famous Monsters by Bill Schelly. So many books. So little time and money.

The best TV them *ever* is Hawaii 5-0. It really is. I know everyone agrees with me so no need to applaud. Thank you, thank you.

Cei-U!
ELP's cover of Henry Mancini's Peter Gunn theme is awesome!
