For the last several years, I've been working on a massive EDGAR ALLAN POE comics blog project, attempting to assemble in one place every Poe comics adaptation I can find in one place. More and more have been foreign stories that have never been published in English or color... until I've gotten done with them. Currently there's items from 1880-1979 posted, with more being added all the time.
I'm currently looking for the following... (List UPDATED 12-5-2020)
THE RAVEN AND OTHER POEMS (1910 / art by John Rea Neill)
AVENTURAS CELEBRES #53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59 & 60 (Hispano Americana De Ediciones, S.A. / Spain / March 20-May 8, 1959) "Arthur Gordon Pym" / art by Franc Fuentes Man
PAGINAS SINISTRAS #3 (Editora Outubro / Brazil / 1966) "O Gato Preto" art by Juarez Odilon (I have this as a reprint from 1974, however, the line quality is ABOMINABLY bad!!! And, I could really use a MUCH bigger and better scan of the cover as well.) (Not really sure if this contains the Luiz Saidenberg or the Juarez Odilon version.)
CORRIERE DEI RAGAZZI/BOY 18 (1976) “Il Corvo” by Alfredo Castelli
TERROR CLASSICAL MAISAL # ? (Ediciones Maisal, S.A. / Spain / Mar'77) "El Gato Negro"

Oh God, wasn't there a b&w comic called POE starring Edgar in the early '00s? I just barely remember...

I really enjoyed this. It’s a detective story loosely based on The Raven and half comic (as in sequential art) and half text like a novel. A very interesting layout for this book. aluminium molecular formula

Richard Corben currently holds the record for most POE comics adaptation by a single artist. He originally did 4 of them in the late 70s-- 3 for Warren, then 1 more he "held back" when the direct market sprung up, to get a better deal (it was put out by Pacific). Decades later, he did a mini-series for Marvel Max, which were very loose adaptations-- and some of them DEEPLY sick & disturbing. Then several years later, he did a 15 more for Dark Horse!! I think he's done around 30 or 32 or so (I should really have that number handy). Thanks for the tip, AdamWarlock, I'll be adding that book to my "wanted" list.

There are many different illustrated book versions of some of Poe's poems, " The Raven" in particular. I could not find a copy of this one at a decent price, but someone did a CHEAP reprint... sadly, with terrible and far-too-small reproductions of the art. But I'm regularly in the habit of going back and updating existing pages, scans, etc., so maybe one of these days I can get something better of this one. THE RAVEN(E.P. Dutton & Company / New York / 1883) art by William Ladd Taylor

The very next year, someone else put out a VERY cool version, and one which may be considered by some as the "DEFINITIVE" illustrated version of this poem... THE RAVEN(Harper & Brothers / New York / 1884) cover by "D.W." (?)
