Here’s a quick question- in comixology, when you see “wishlist “ written on the book, does it mean that it’s not available yet ?

I have a lot of experience with Comixology.
I don't use it, but the Wish List simply flags a comic you'd like to get in the future.
Comixology will remind you of it, or you can reference it yourself on that list, or maybe someone else can see that's an issue you'd like.
You're not committed to it other than it's on this reminder list.
Does that help ?
I really enjoy my Comixology.

Well my wife took the plunge today with Disney+ and signed up for the 3 year special offer that works out to less than $4 a month. -M Where can I find that, @mrp? Is it on their website or somewhere else, because there is no way I want to miss out on it?

I'd read about that earlier.
That's a killer deal.

Where can I find that, @mrp ? Is it on their website or somewhere else, because there is no way I want to miss out on it? google D23 fan club, which is what she did. The offer expires on the 1st though, so it may already be too late. You have to join the fan club (which is free) , and when they process your application, they send the offer. -M It's actually still good through 11:59 EDT on September 2. I signed up for the free fan club membership yesterday and got my e-mail link this morning, so I will be signing up for this later today after running the numbers by my wife just to make sure she is on board (which she will be, but I like her to have some input and to sign off on things, even though I never take her anything that I haven't already researched and vetted 100% to make sure is a good deal and a benefit to our family).

It's Labor Day in the US and I received a text at 4am from Capital one bank asking if I made a 1000 purchase from best buy. I called when I got up and found out 2 charges were declined for 1000, and 900. There also was another charge for 760 pending. Apparently, the data breach they experienced came back to bite me in the butt. I'm so glad that they texted me, is I canceled the card and I'm not responsible for the charges.

Glad you got this stuff caught before it actually hit your card! We had a string of fraudulent charges on one of our cards a few years ago, and since they actually completed the transactions, it was a pain in the rear to get the CC company to understand that I did not buy $975 worth of vintage Mustang automobile parts in person at a business in California or a bunch of educational software from some online company located in Brazil. We canceled and were issued new cards multiple times, and we were actually one more bad charge away from moving from that CC company entirely, but we've been hack free for about three years now. There are times when I almost want to go back to cash only, because while it would be a pain to have to get to the bank or ATM to take out cash on a regular basis, the vigilance one has to employ to make sure that every expense on a CC is valid is exhausting, not to mention the trouble one has to go through when a card is hacked.

We were on vacation in Virginia last year and 2 of our cards hacked. Fortunately the charges were blocked because of the pattern. We had to go to an atm and use cash the rest of the week since we didn't have any credit cards to use.

Some good news: they're delivering my new manual wheelchair on Friday. The one I have now, an emergency stopgap provided by a concerned friend, has never fit me properly as it sits a good four inches lower than I need to safely transfer unaided to my bed, cars, the toilet, my shower set, and my power wheelchair. It also means I have to be in my power chair when it's plugged into its battery charger, which means I'm stuck in one place for up to eight hours. This has not only been frustrating and inconvenient (for me and others) but was a major contributor to the back issues that sent me to the ER last Christmas Eve and led to my stepping down from writing the 1945-49 follow-up to my book. It's ridiculous that it took them nine freaking months to make it happen (both my doctor's office and the vendor misplaced or mishandled the paperwork at various times) but it IS finally happening. Combined with my impending move to a new apartment, this means we'll have finally accomplished everything it was determined back in January we had to make happen to ensure there's no recurrence of that ER visit.
Cei-U! I summon the big ol' sigh of relief!
