it usually doesn't. They didn't have AC anywhere. I wish they'd have air con more in the UK too. Last year our summer was crazy hot and we really could've done with air con everywhere. It never normally gets hot enough for long enough to warrant it though. That's one of the things I love about the U.S., there's air conditioning all over the place in bars, clubs, restaurants, and accommodation. I always thought it was because of USA cheap energy costs plus we always overdo everything. It can be 100 F yet inside it is 68F. I know we run our house unit all summer and it really doesn't add much to out electric bill.

Nice. I never thought it got that hot in Paris. it usually doesn't. They didn't have AC anywhere. That's the only bad thing about Paris. I stayed at Paris twice and it was hot in both occasions.

After about a year, I finally noticed one of my female cats is actually male.
I do not know how I failed to miss that.

I have to say I find the people here very friendly. I am enjoying Worthing very much. Saw our friends last night. Ate at a nice outdoor cafe. Just beautiful. Nice respite. When we return to London it will be full speed ahead to cram in as much as possible before we return home July 6. Love the UK will definitely be returning in the future

What do cab passengers do?
They mumble, they snore, they get drunk, they don't know where they want to go, they expect you to know what the 'church' is (Anglican, Catholic, Methodist?). "The big building near town..." is apparently somewhere a driver should know.
I honestly wish an algorithm could filter out the awkward ones and make them walk. They treat people like dirt. In a cab, they do the same.
What a day!

Wow. I won't say anything more in this thread, but what is apparently a massive spoiler for The Walking Dead comics has just leaked. If true, I'll admit it. They surprised me with that one. If anyone is curious, Newsarama is carrying it. I won't even link here for fear of unintentionally spoiling anyone who might care. Just wow.

People who have seen the issue itself (i.e.retailers who got their deliveries) seem to be confirming this spoiler rumor. -M

Staying busy here in London. Visiting as many sites as I can before returning home to USA 7/6. Loving every minute although my feet hurt from walking so much!

Glad to hear that you're having a ball, Richard. And glad that the weather seems to be behaving itself and staying relatively nice for your stay.
